Problems with snow, southern Kosovo

Due to bad weather, which has affected Kosovo, in the municipality of Dragash local farmers were forced to return to his cattle farm. Snow, whose height exceeded 50 cm covered the meadows, so that cattle could not possibly get to the food. A few days earlier, as the weather was very nice, they have performed their cattle to graze in the area Dragash, in order to conserve supplies of fodder.

Heavy snow falls on the Šar Mountains in Kosvo, a range that extends across to the Republic of Macedonia to North Eastern Albania.

In the south of Kosovo, the Shar mountains graced the pages of the morning with snow. The temperature at night dropped to zero. Snow on the mountain is ten centimeters, while in the villages of five centimeters.
Low temperatures and snow caused extensive damage to crops, and farmers will suffer significant losses.
