Voluntary action to protect from snow avalanche

25.11.2012. Restelica, Dragash
At an altitude of over 2,000m, the local people of the village Restelica on their own initiative, without the help of the state Kosovo, trying to protect the place where the tragedy had occurred in February this year.

In the February 11 snow avalanche killed ten people and one girl five years was found alive.
Because the terrain is very inaccessible, the only means of transportation of materials to scene of the accident are horses and building machines - dampers.

Promises that were given by the state, politicians and other people that will be very soon restored the accident site and will try to protect the accident site. But promises were not fulfilled, and the local people are very angry and are willing to take a physical fight with any man who is not from Restelica.

Me and my friend on the way to the scene were verbally attacked and we were not allowed to take photos.

It happened and Kosovo police and journalists from Prishtina. Upset and very angry local people do not allow anyone to take photographs of their work, with the explanation that journalists guilty as the state nothing is done until now.

Comeback

Finally, our life is returning to normal.
Over the past few months, total chaos reigned, people have lost their sense for something that is normal.
Simply, each doing what suits him.

This situation contributes to the tropical summer.
No rain few months.

Again, I took a camera in hand.

Peace returns again.
Life is beautiful otherwise.

Birds sing their ecstatic songs and hawk after a successful hunt swiftly flies to breed in whom eagerly await small hawks.

Cows resting by the river and tired shepherds sleep in the shade.
