Two months after the avalanche tragedy in Restelica
A snowy avalanches hit Restelica on 11th February 2012, in the
municipality of Dragash leaving behind many destroyed structures. The
disaster killed 10 of 11 members of one family, a 5-year-old girl has
been found alive.
Avalanches that crash down on the house mint snow height is about 10 meters and a diameter of 500 meters.
It was early morning when the family members sleeping, and six houses
in the snow avalanche completely sunk, another 12 houses destroyed.
